Tony King, the Project Conservator has left Teesside to return home to Essex after being successful in gaining a permanent job. Tony has been with the project since June 2009 and, in addition to carrying out a conservation survey of the entire British Steel Collection, has been repairing some of the most damaged records. Some of his work can be viewed on the 'Featured Items' link.

Tony also worked with 6 Collection Care volunteers to clean and repackage volumes, encapsulate photographs and to list, measure and rebox thousands of plans.

Tony, we'll miss you - but we wish you all the best in your new job!
